What Are All-on-4 Dental Implants?
All-on-4 dental implants, manufactured by Nobel Biocare™, provide an advanced way to secure dentures for a full-arch restoration. This treatment works by inserting the screws (implants) into four spots on the upper and/or lower arch. In comparison to other enhancement dentures, All-on-4 uses fewer implants to give you a secure fit. Our dental professionals recommend All-on-4 implants for patients who are looking for a fully restored smile without the bother and dietary limitations of removable dentures. Many King of Prussia, PA patients have reaped the benefits of the groundbreaking All-on-4 procedure, appreciating quality results. If you are interested in finding out more information on All-on-4 implants and custom dentures, then we welcome you to schedule a consultation at ByDesign Dental Specialists.
What Can I Expect From All-on-4 Dental Implants?
First, we will take impressions and x-rays of your mouth. Our dental team will then create your personal treatment plan and go over your choices for sedation during the process. In your first appointment, the implants will be placed in your dental arch. We will put a temporary cover to protect the implants as your mouth heals and your custom dentures are being created. After several months, you should return to get your custom-made dentures connected and then adjusted for a good fit.
What is Aftercare Like?
You may experience some pain and discomfort in your gums following implant surgery. While you're wearing your temporary dentures, there'll be some diet limitations and cleaning directions to follow. You will also come in for routine follow-ups throughout the recovery period so Dr. Mogyoros can check your recovery and ensure that the implants are healing into your gums and bone as they should be. As soon as your custom dentures have been set, you should clean them like natural teeth with regular brushing and flossing. You should still go to ByDesign Dental Specialists for annual exams and bi-annual cleanings to maintain your dentures, and so Dr. Mogyoros can monitor the health of your implants, gums, and jaw.
What Are the Benefits of All-on-4 Dental Implants?

All-on-4® Dental Implants Reviews
Trust the process! I was referred by a friend to go here. I can say, I didn't make a mistake. Dr. Moore and Dr. Mogyoros are fantastic. They both truly care about their patients health and well-being. The entire staff recognizes that we are all people and they want their patients to feel great about their smile. I was comfortable here and would highly recommend! Thank you all for making me feel great again! I love to smile again.
The return of my smile and more: The bottom line is that I am thrilled with the end result of my All on 4 plus procedure. Doctors Mogyoros and Moore took their time, were knowledgeable, compassionate, and made me feel as if I was their sole patient. They really cared about helping me. The rest of the team in the office were some of the best I’ve encountered in a dental practice. When I first came to their office, I was miserable. A prior All on 4 had completely failed, I had a cosmetic temporary upper denture, and was depressed. Dr. Mogyoros came up with a plan to address the repair of the implant failure, and shortly thereafter I had oral surgery in the office. Due to the prior issues, I would get Zygomatic implants as well as regular ones to make the All on 4. Dr. Mogyoros wound up surgically installing 2 regular, 2 pterygoid, as well as 4 Zygomatics. No All on 4, I got an All on 8. it was a long day, I came home that evening with a ‘new mouth’ . Recovery was very fast and Dr. Moore then took over with the crafting of the final set. He took care to make sure that everything fit, was balanced, and looked great. Nothing was left to chance. I now can eat what I like, my face doesn’t have the sunken look that happens with dentures, I speak without issues, have a great attitude each day, and of course smile all the time.

Who Are the Best Candidates for All-on-4 Implants?
Implants by All-on-4 can be used to substitute one or both arches together with dental implants connected to dentures made custom for you. You may be an ideal candidate for All-on-4 in the event you prefer the advantages of implant-supported dentures compared to traditional, removable dentures, which include few or no dietary restrictions, no sticky adhesives, and no special cleaning. You'll have to have good gum and bone density to get implants, since the implants rely on your bone and gums to hold them in place. If needed, gum and/or bone grafts may be required before implant surgery. Dr. Mogyoros can decide if this procedure is right for you in your initial consultation and will help discuss all your choices.
Our Featured Work
How do All-on-4 implants differ from traditional dental implants?
The key difference between All-on-4 and traditional implants lies in the number and placement of the implants. Traditional implants typically require one implant per missing tooth, while All-on-4 uses just four implants to support an entire arch. This method often reduces surgery time and recovery, making it a more efficient choice for full-arch restoration.
What is the success rate of All-on-4 dental implants?
All-on-4 dental implants boast a high success rate, often exceeding 95%. The success largely depends on the patient's oral health, bone density, and adherence to post-operative care. Regular dental check-ups and proper oral hygiene play crucial roles in maintaining the longevity of these implants.
How long does the All-on-4 procedure take?
The All-on-4 procedure typically involves two main stages: implant placement and the attachment of the dental arch. The initial surgery to place the implants can often be completed in one day. However, the total process, including healing and fitting the permanent arch, can take several months.
