By Design Dental Implant Center to announce final recipient of the “Share a Smile Program” on October 20th

Philadelphia, PA (October 13, 2015) — Dr. Robert Mogyoros, Dr. John Thaler, and dental lab director Rand Jaslow of By Design Dental Implant Center are announcing the final recipient of the Share a Smile Program on October 20th, at 9:00AM.

The Share a Smile Program application period ran from July 15th to August 15th, producing a total count of 344 local applicants. The final decision will be even more difficult than ever they imagined because there were so many people in need.

“As a practice, we are honored to be able to give back to our community in such a big way. Initially, we never would have anticipated the impact of this program or the significant effect it would have on the people of Philadelphia. We are overwhelmed by the sheer volume of responses, we are truly grateful to help give back to the place we call home,” said Dr. Mogyoros.

Much of the community’s support was demonstrated on the practice’s social media pages. On Facebook, during the application period, the response was incredible. On one post alone, 92,280 people were reached, resulting in 175 shares, 212 likes, and 50 comments. People poured out their hearts about what the program meant to them and shared heart-wrenching stories about domestic violence, genetic conditions, job struggles, and extreme self-esteem problems, all resulting from their poor oral health.

The program accepted applicants over a 30-day period. The final recipient will have their entire arches of teeth replaced with a procedure known as the All-on-4® Treatment Concept. This technique is a highly sought after dental implant procedure noted for its minimal recovery time, natural look, and appearance, as well as its ability to restore oral function. The All-on-4® Treatment Concept has become a popular choice among those who are seeking an alternative to dentures and looking for a permanent solution for replacing a full-arch of teeth. This unique team of an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, prosthodontist, and master laboratory technician, allows patients to complete the entire procedure at their state-of-the-art dental implant center in King of Prussia, PA.

In addition to restoring oral function and a natural smile, the Share a Smile Program aims to improve the recipient’s overall quality of life by addressing other specific needs of the patient, such as smoking cessation or physical fitness. Community members interested in becoming a partner in the program are encouraged to contact By Design Dental Implant Center.

The announcement takes place on Tuesday, October 20, 2015, at 9:00AM. It will be held at By Design Dental Implant Center practice, located at 234 Mall Blvd., #180, King of Prussia, PA.
